Startup Europe Universities Network

 Representing Boğaziçi University, which is the only member university from Turkey of Startup Europe Universities Network, an initiative of the European Commission, Bright works to advance entrepreneurship research and studies at universities with the support of this representation. Center director Oğuzhan Aygören, who took part as a speaker at the network's summit held in Sofia in November 2018, also gave a speech at the Boğaziçi University leg of events held in all member countries. In the event, which continued with his speech titled "What It Means to Be Like a Startup: Making the University an Entrepreneurship Engine," topics such as what a startup is, how it differs from traditional companies, and how to become a successful startup were discussed.
